Robert J. Cox

Robert J. Cox, 83, of Metamora, Indiana passed away peacefully September 13, 2023 in Indianapolis, Indiana. He was born on October 11, 1939 to the late Arnold and Beulah (Edwards) Cox in Metamora, Indiana. 

Bob served in the Army Nation Guard out of Ft. Leonardwood with the 5th Army infantry. He worked for Ford Motor Company in Indianapolis and later retired after 30 years of service. 

Bob enjoyed watching and going to Nascar races, late model dirt races, fishing, hunting and most recently going to casino's. His favorite of all was drinking an ice cold Coke.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Arnold and Beulah and brother, Bill Foster.

Bob is survived by his wife of 33 years, Beverly Cox; son's, Dan (Mary) Cox, Scott (Jodi) Cox; granddaughter, Adyson Cox; brother's, James (Joyce) Cox, Ken (Pam) Cox, Wendell "Wink" (Beth) Foster, Ed (Donna) Cox, as well as many nieces and nephews.
