Robert "Bob" E. Brown

Robert E. Brown (Bob), 77 of Indianapolis, passed away peacefully Friday, February 21st in Indianapolis, IN, after a long battle with heart disease.

He was born on April 18, 1947, in Philadelphia, PA to George and Janice (Pace) Brown.

Bob was a proud graduate of Penn State University, graduating in 1970. He went on to attend the United States Marine Corps Officers Candidate School in Quantico, VA. He rose to the rank of Captain and served in the Vietnam War.

Robert is survived by his wife, Julie Robinson-Brown of Indianapolis; sisters, Barbara (Dave) Edgerton of Coeur d’Alene, ID, and Bonnie (Pat) Kilroy of Lake Elsinore, CA; daughter, Stephanie (Paul) Brown of Greenville, SC; son, Steven (Jennifer) Brown of Birmingham, AL; five grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. 

In accordance with Bob’s wishes, no services are planned. He will be cremated, and his ashes will be scattered at his beloved Penn State. Memorial contributions may be made to the Franciscan Hospice Home or the Indiana chapter of the Penn State Alumni Association for their scholarship fund.
