Ricky L Beckley

Ricky Lee Beckley Sr. 53, of Greenfield, passed away on January 29, 2023, unexpectedly, while spending time with his family. He was born on August 31, 1969 in Greenfield, IN.  

Rick worked many years as a tile setter. As his health declined,  he began to work at Stanfield Auto; helping out where ever he was needed, until he retired. 

Rick loved fishing from a very young age with his dad. He loved riding his bike to his grandparents from Morristown to Fortville. In highschool he enjoyed wrestling and playing football.  As an adult he enjoyed spending time with his family,  hunting,  and bow-fishing with his boys. He was always a good sport about allowing his daughter to do his hair, makeup,  and paint his nails. From the moment he first became a grandad,  him and and his grandson shared the love of naps, watching television,  and camp-outs in the back yard. He was always a great patient to his granddaughter, when she wanted to play nurse or paint his nails. He was always able to make anyone laugh. He had a PhD in sarcasm.  He never met a stranger and would give the shirt off his back. 

Rick is survived by his loving wife or 31 years, whom he loved dearly,  Laura (Ford) Beckley; daughter,  Ashley Beckley; sons, Ricky (Alaina) Beckley Jr. , Jarred (Ashley) Beckley; grandchildren,  Kayden and Kaliannah; mother-in-law, Thelma Ford; Maw, Terri (Tony) Stanfield- Stillman, and several other extended family members and his beloved dog Ruby. 

Rick was proceeded in death by his parents, Gail Lloyd and Johnny Beckley; brother, Tracy Beckley; and father-in-law, Charles Ford.
