Richard Michael Kiser, 73, passed away at home on Thursday,
October 21, 2021 in Noblesville, Indiana.
Rich was born on August 26, 1948 to Richard Benjamin and Adele Kiser in Chicago, Illinois. With his two brothers, Jeffrey and Paul, they grew up in Chicago attending local Catholic schools. Rich attended Mendel Catholic High School and graduated from Chicago State Teachers College.
Rich retired from Cook County Sheriff’s Department where he earned numerous promotions and awards. After retiring from the Sheriff’s Department, he moved to Indianapolis and began a private investigations company. After that venture, Rich spent many hours at Autohaus Dierolf with the owners. His love of cars was a lifetime passion.
Rich is survived by his wife, Margaret Z. Kiser, and son, Jason M. Kiser (Danielle), and grandchildren by son’s marriage, Kaila Yim and Kurtis Yim; brothers and their spouses, Jeffrey Kiser (Peggy) and Paul (Kathleen) Kiser; nieces, Kathleen and Ashley, and nephew, Michael Kiser.
Visitation is scheduled for October 26, 2021 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Indiana Funeral Care, Harry W. Moore Chapel, 8151 Allisonville Road, Indianapolis, IN 46250. The service will follow in the Chapel at 1:00 p.m. Burial will be at Our Lady of Peace cemetery, 9001 Haverstick Road, Indianapolis, IN 46250 at 2:30 p.m. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to PrimeLife Enrichment, Carmel, IN www.primelifeenrichment.org
