Rhonda Kragel

Rhonda L. Kragel 58, passed away at her home on May 24th 2023. She grew up between Louisville, KY, and Alabama with some time in Florida before moving to Indy. She loved spending time at Lake Monroe or any bodies of water and playing cards. She was the hostess with mostest always having gatherings where she could feed her family and friends. She was a social butterfly who never knew a stranger and made many friends while working in the service industry most of her life. Rhonda was a kind soul who collected strays both human and animal. She was a truly beautiful person inside and out and will be dearly missed by all who knew her.

She is survived by her wife, Melissa Ostemyer; daughter, Misha Rae; uncle, Robert Kragel; brother, Michael; nephews, Shawn and Cody Fluhr; niece, Rachael Fluhr; and great nephews.
She is preceded in death by her son, Bradley Kragel; father, Phillip Kragel; mother, Sharon York-Kragel; step-mother, Connie Nutgrass; and brother, Norman Kragel.

There will be a visitation and memorial service on Saturday, June 3rd, 2023 at Indiana Funeral Care, Greenwood Chapel. The visitation is from 2:00pm to 4:00pm with the memorial service to start at 4:00pm.

In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting donations to St. Jude in honor of Rhonda's memory.
