Rhoda Hart

Rhoda Hart (Stewart) passed away on July 23, 2024, in her hometown of Indianapolis, Indiana. She was born on December 6, 1938, to her loving parents Harlan and Harriett Stewart.

Rhoda was a cherished mother to her daughters Rhonda Stogsdill and Karen Anderson who survive her. Her presence in their lives was a beacon love and strength. She also leaves behind a legacy through her grandchildren: Kristina Church, Tyler Klingensmith, Kennith Church, Whitney Klingensmith, Austin Stogsdill, Jamie Anderson, Amber Sanders. Rhoda's nurturing spirit will live on through the generations she touched.

In addition to her immediate family, Rhoda is survived by her sisters, Sandy Kane and Sheila Driggers, along with numerous nieces and nephews who held a special place in her heart.

Rhoda was preceded in death by her husband, Charlie Hart, and daughter, Carolyn Church.

Rhoda's life will be celebrated at Tuxedo Baptist Church, 29 N. Grant Ave., Indianapolis, IN 4620. A Viewing will take place on July 30th from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM, followed by a Funeral Service at 1:00 PM. The final farewell will be held at New Crown Cemetery with a Graveside Service starting at 2:30 PM.

Rhoda was a pillar of strength, kindness, and grace. Her memory will forever remain in the hearts of all who knew her. May she rest in eternal peace.
