Rebecca ‘Becki’ L. Baker Lynch was born in Logansport, Indiana, the daughter of William D. Baker and Betty (Walker) Bailey. She passed from this life at her home, on April 28, 2020. Becki was married to Frederick T. Lynch on April 2, 2004; he survives.
Becki attended Haworth High School. After receiving her GED, she attended Ivy Tech Kokomo in 2003 for Criminal Justice.
She was a hairdresser by profession and retired after 25 years. Becki enjoyed reading, gardening, word puzzles and spending time with family and her precious grandchildren.
Along with her husband, Freddie; she is survived by her sons, Richard Mitchell II, Dominic Mitchell and Jeremy Mitchell; stepson, Frederick (Stephanie) Humphries; stepdaughters, Rasheen Tyler, Adreana Tyler, and Indra (Eliott) Faison, all of Kokomo; sister in laws, Claudette Davis, Darlene Liggon, Arlene (Wilford) Moreland, Falaine (Vincent) Jones, and Kimberly (Charles) Jewell, brother in laws, Brent (Sarah) Jewell, Burton Lynch, and Tyrone (Samantha) Lynch; and siblings, Bobbie (Joe) Conn, Dean (Ellen) Baker, Bill Baker, and Kent (Pamela) Bailey.
Becki was preceded in death by her parents, and sister, Diane Cook; sister in law, Kellie Johnson, and brother in law, Charles Jewell.
As Becki requested, there will be no service. A memorial service is planned for a later date.
