Rebecca Ann Harding (McPherson)
passed away unexpectedly on August 14th 2020, at Community Hospital East in Indianapolis.
She was 68.
She was preceded in death by her mother Betty Pepples and father John McPherson Sr., three sisters, one brother and her eldest son, Brian D. Thompson. She is survived by her middle son Scott Michael Thompson, wife Kimberly Thompson, her only daughter Kandice Renea Thompson-Smith, Husband Eric Reeves, her youngest son Warren Casey Harding, six grandchildren, 4 great-grandchildren, two sisters and one brother.
She was a donor and in passing helped many people including; a newborn baby, two kids ages 3 and 5, a married couple ages 62 and 68 and 115 others.
For many years she was a very accomplished Machinist that loved her job. Bingo and gardening
were her favorite hobbies as well as spending time with her kids. Later in life she would change careers to do something else that she loved, she became a housekeeper for some amazing families in Indianapolis.
She was known in the circle of our immediate family as the gangster grandma. She was
quick-witted, incredibly funny, loving, intelligent, a great friend, a little sarcastic and most of all,
an amazing mother, grandmother, sister and friend.
Those that were blessed to know her will never forget her.
