Raymond Arnold Huebner, 73, passed away on October 29, 2024, at St. Vincent Hospital in Indianapolis, IN. He was born on July 23, 1951, in Fond du Lac, WI, to the late Arnold Huebner and Eleanor (Totz) Miller. After completing his education, Raymond worked a variety of jobs before later retiring from IBM and Deloitte as an IT consultant.
Raymond found joy in life’s simple pleasures and was a steady presence of fun and humor for those around him. Known for his quick wit and boundless work ethic, he was never one to back down from a challenge – and good luck trying to prove him wrong. He loved golfing, cheering on the Green Bay Packers and University of Wisconsin, and, back in the day, skiing with and coaching his kids. His loyalty extended to his beloved terrier, Charlie, who was never far from his side. Above all, Raymond’s heart was with his family, especially his grandchildren, whose games and events he rarely missed. His smile, love, humor, and encouragement will be deeply missed by all of us who had the privilege to call him ours. We love you, Dad (Grandpa).
Raymond is survived by his son, Eric (Melissa) Huebner; daughter, Erin (David Welch) Camp; sister, Sue (Guy) Chollet; as well as his grandchildren, Cole Huebner, Reid Huebner, Cade Camp, Farrah Camp, and Naomi Camp.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Arnold Huebner and Eleanor Miller; as well as his brothers, Richard Huebner and Ronald Miller.
In honor of Raymond’s wishes, no services are planned at this time. Memorial contributions may be made in Raymond's name to the Indy Humane Society at https://indyhumane.org/
Indiana Funeral Care is honored to be assisting the family with the services.
