Randy C. Black was born to parents Carl and Gloria Black on October 12, 1951 in Indianapolis, Indiana. He graduated from Southport High School, joined the Navy, and studied computer programming at Indiana University. Randy had a rewarding career with Hurco Manufacturing, but had a truly fulfilling life with family and friends.
Randy was the originator of dad jokes, collector of matchbooks, king of high fives, conquerer of slot machines, and always treated appetizers as entrees; his laughter was contagious, and he was incredibly generous with his time and his love.
Randy was preceded in death by his eldest son, Benjamin, and he leaves behind his children: Aaron Black, Laura (Immanuel) Jones, and Elizabeth (Kevin) Downs, six loving grandchildren, and a host of family and close friends.
As per Randy’s request, no funeral or memorial service will be held.
