Randall Scott Gaskins

Randall Scott Gaskins, 75, of Greenfield, Indiana, died peacefully at 4:40 pm, Friday July 16, 2021. A former resident of Fortville and Carmel, Indiana, Randy was born and raised in Clarksburg WV. He was the son of Vernon Scott Gaskins and Helen Virginia Lowther.

While serving in the U.S. Air Force, stationed in Okinawa, Japan, Randy met and fell in love with Mari Arakaki Kiyan. They married in October 1969 and recently celebrated 51 years of marriage. After leaving the service, he worked as an insurance salesman. He enjoyed playing the guitar and composing music and poetry in his free time.

Randy is survived by his wife Mari, daughter Nana Vaughn (Michael) of Ellicott City, MD, daughter Heather Constantinescu (Cristian) of Hamden, CT, son Andre Gaskins (Jilaine) of Carmel, IN, brother Mark Gaskins, sister Andrea Anne Al-Hussain, and 7 grandchildren, Anya, Braden, Mira, Alivia, Alden, Elodie, and Ethan.

A funeral service and burial will be offered at 11:00 a.m. on July 21, 2021 at Our Lady of Peace Chapel and Cemetery, 9001 Haverstick Road, Indianapolis, and will be officiated by Father Aaron Jenkins.
