RANDALL EARL HAMMONS

Randall or as everyone called him Randy gained his wings to
went home to be with his soul mate Cindy Hammons. As he
ascended to heaven a live harp played his spirit to heaven at IU
Hospital Hospice he was surrounded by his family whom
adored and loved him so very much.

Randy owned a semi trucking company which he started with
his wife Cindy and parents in the 80's. All his dreams came
true when his son took over and has made Hammons Equip Co.,
into a huge success. Before Randy retired traveled the
country with his wife and they went all over the country from
Las Vegas to the statue of liberty. After her passing Randy
retired the semi and took care of his dying
father Bernis Hammons. Two days before his
father passed Randy was diagnosed with terminal cancer.
Our family was next to him and went to every apt with him. He
took lots of pride in his grandchildren, children and his
baby sister. His daughter grew into the role of caretaker and
their love and their friendship grew into a beautiful relationship which they always
wished to have. His sister Shelia Hammons and uncle Norman
Hammons were with him every single day helping and loving.
His son would be their day and all night if he needed company.

The bonds Randy leaves are beyond this world. He overcome
addiction while fighting cancer. What an incredible man he was.
He would tell us every day “Every single pain and any
suffering I ensure its all worth it because together again” Randy no doubt
was special human who I have my family a wanted to help others at any
chance he got. He turned his home into our “summertime
oasis” and we spent every day there. From the moment Austin
made him a grandparent he was a Rockstar grandpa. Donovan
and Luci came along and brightened his life again. He sure
was an amazing and proud father, brother, friend but he
took it to the next level being “Papapw” Now his soul happily
home and in mommas arms forever.  Randall was proceeded in death
by his wife Lucinda (Paxton) Hammons. His mother Yvonne
(Gibson) Hammons and his father Bernie Hammons.
Randall was survived by his sister whom was his best friend
Shelia Hammons. His sisters Regina, Kate, and Kyra also
survived him. His uncle Norman Hammons was Randys hero
survived him. His son MarK (Phaedra) Hammons, and Daughter Heidi (Bryan) Parks
(Hammons) both of Greenfield Indiana survived him as well. His grandchildren Austin Hammons,
Donovan Parks and Luci Parks survived him as well. He had many lifelong friends and
cousins and his dog buddy bam bam all whom survived him as well.

We all know we will see him in heaven again.
