Ralph Paul Palmer

Ralph Paul Palmer, age 62 of Indianapolis, IN, passed away on April 26, 2021.

Ralph was born in Indianapolis on March 29, 1959 to Gilbert and Alice (Ralston) Palmer. Ralph married Kern (Howard) Palmer on June 16, 1984 and became the proud stepfather to Patrick Howard.

Ralph was a Design Engineer for Best Lock for 25 years, followed by a 10-year career at Ingersoll Rand as a Value Engineer. Ralph had a very successful career including 14 patents in his name.

Ralph was preceded in death by his father, Gilbert, and leaves many survivors who will miss him dearly. Survivors include Kern Palmer, Patrick (Sarah Simpson) Howard, grandchildren Alyssa, Andrew, and Brookelyn Howard, mother Alice Palmer, sisters Connie Hickey and Brenda Hawkins, and brothers Sonny Palmer, Jimmy Palmer, and Scott Palmer.

Ralph was a wonderful son, husband, stepfather, and Papa. He will be remembered for his fantastic sense of humor and his loving and caring spirit. Ralph was a truly exceptional man and will be greatly missed by many.
