Rachel Harold

Rachel Lee Harold, 78, of Nineveh, passed away on Thursday, March 30, 2023. She fought a good fight with her husband by her side, and was finally granted mercy and peace! Heaven is a brighter place with her there.

Rachel was born on June 25, 1944 in Indianapolis. She was a 1962 graduate of Howe High School and married her high school sweetheart, Bill Harold. They would have celebrated 60 years of marriage this Christmas Eve. Rachel was the proud mother of three children; Jennifer Devine (Dan) of Nineveh, William Harold (Fabiana) of Center Grove, and Jessica Oskins of Fishers. Rachel worked at Naval Avionics for 28 years and retired in 2007. She was so proud to have 12 grandchildren and 10 (11 this May) great grandchildren. Her love for snow, Christmas, and cookie baking will always be remembered.

Rachel was preceded in death by her grand daughter, Kelsey Anne; her parents, her brothers, her sister, and two nephews.

Services for Rachel will be Tuesday April 11th at Indiana Funeral Care, Greenwood Chapel. The calling hours are from 5:00pm to 7:00pm with the memorial service to start at 7:00pm.
