Phyllis Y. Sinex

June 8, 1944 — July 16, 2020

Phyllis Y. (Hopp) Sinex of Indianapolis passed away peacefully at home with her family by her side on Thursday, July 16, 2020.
She was a loving mother of 5 children, Sheila Bobay of Corydon, Indiana, Kelly (Reasor) Duncan of Indianapolis, Indiana, Shawn (Reasor) Morgan of Indianapolis, Indiana; and 2 sons who precede her in death, James (Jimmy) Reasor, Phillip Townsend; father Rolland H. Hopp; and mother, Violet D. (Young) Hopp.
She is also survived by her sisters, Sharon Mays, Roberta Beck, Martha Rosen; 15 grandchildren; 15 great grandchildren; 2 great great grandchildren; loving nephew, Brent Plunkett; and many nieces and nephews.
Phyllis was an LPN for over 40 years in the Indianapolis area, working for St. Francis Hospital and St. Paul Hermitage. Phyllis was a proud Native American Woman, and a dedicated LPN who took great pleasure in taking care of others.
Visitation will be Saturday, August 1, 2020 from 10:00 until 11:00 am.
Memorial Service will begin at 11:00 am with visitation from 10:00 am until the time of service at Indiana Funeral Care/Greenwood Chapel, 2433 East Main Street, Greenwood, IN 46143
