Phyllis Ebling

Phyllis Ebling, 73, of Greenwood, passed away peacefully on Monday, March 3, 2025, after a long illness. She was born on December 15, 1951, in Beech Grove, IN, to the late Willie Eugene and Myrtle Alderson.

She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Robert Ebling, and her sister, Linda Alderson.

Phyllis is survived by her sister, Lori Cody (David) of Apex, NC. She was aunt to Sherry (Matt) Tader, Jennifer Fitch, and Kristen Alderson. She was also a proud great-aunt to Camryn and Liam Tader; Jay and Brittany Fitch; and Kendall and Kate Alderson. Additionally, she was a loving great-great-aunt to Jacob, Brianna, and Nathan Cole, children of Brittany (Jake) Cole.

Phyllis dedicated her career to the banking industry until her retirement. She earned a Bachelor of Arts degree from Indiana University.

A memorial service will be held on April 18, 2025, from 11:00 AM to 12:30 PM at Indiana Funeral Care, 8151 Allisonville Road, Indianapolis, IN. Family and friends are invited to attend to honor and celebrate her life.
