Outside of work,
Pete enjoyed playing tennis, working on his HO gauge trains, and participating in scouting. He had an entrepreneurial spirit owning two small businesses: a paper coater company and a card shop along with 3 four-family rental properties. In 2000, Pete and Andrea settled in Fishers, Indiana near their daughter.
Pete was devoted to his family. His greatest joy was spending time with his wife, children, and grandchildren. He enjoyed spending time investing and watching sports, especially KU football and basketball.
Pete was an active community member, church leader, and volunteer. He was all of these things and above all a strong, proud, and good man. He is loved and will be missed by his many friends and family.
In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate a donation to the Salvation Army or the National Cancer Society.
