Pennie Elaine Dalton

August 7, 1960 — August 7, 2023

Indianapolis

Pennie Elaine Dalton (Shaw) was born in Anderson, IN August 7, 1960 to C. Robert (Bob) and Beverly E. Shaw (Hendricks). She grew up in Anderson and resided there until her death from an extended illness took her to be with her Lord and Savior August 7, 2023.

She was a talented crafter and especially enjoyed working with florals. She gave most of her work away to those she loved and her art was an expression of her love for Jesus, life and others. Having a keen interest in nature, she learned all that she could about it. She worked at Meijer in various positions until her illness disabled her. She had a heart for those suffering from addictions and supported as many young women as she could through their journey to sobriety. Her deepest desire was that others would come to have a loving personal relationship with Jesus Christ as she did.

Surviving family members are daughter Jennifer (Jenny) Harlan, granddaughters Annabelle Harlan, Lilly James, great grandson Kobi Robinson, sister Debra Phelps (William Phelps), nephews Graham (Rose) Case and Lee (Amber) Case, nieces Estelle and Elena Case, a nephew Owen Case, an Aunt Evanell Crandall and several cousins.

She was preceded in death by her husband Anthony (Tony) Dalton Sr., daughter Sarah J Asher and her brother Robert (Bob) W. Shaw.
