Peggy Lou (Rothermel) Robinson passed away on June 28, at 92 years old, from complications with dementia. She is survived by her daughter, Laura Tassell and two grandchildren, Jennifer Tassell and Nicholas Tassell.
Peggy married the love of her life, James Robinson, in 1950 and was a devoted wife and mother until Jim’s passing in 1997.
Peggy graduated from Penn State college with a degree in animal husbandry. She put that knowledge to work throughout her life. She raised black angus cattle, American Saddlebred horses, great danes, shelties and cats.
She was a resident of Carmel and Zionsville from 1967. She and Jim owned apartments in Carmel, Westfield and Lebanon where they brightened tenants lives with excellent care and concern.
Peggy loved life and traveling. As she would say, she hiked in all fifty states and welcomed many friends and associates. She also traveled abroad to destinations including Ireland, Amsterdam and Budapest. She lived her life to the fullest
