Paul 'PD' Donald Bender
January 24, 1950 — January 22, 2020
Paul Donald Bender, 69, of Indianapolis, passed away on January 22, 2020.
PD leaves behind his wife of nearly 50 years, Vickie; children, Lincoln (Jennifer) Bender, Bryan Bender, Marie (Josh) Wagner; sisters, Becky Bender and Fran Colassaco; grandchildren, Hayden, Loryn and Brady Fox and one great-grandson, Leon. He also leaves behind his golden retriever, Daisy. He was preceded in death by his parents, Paul and Aljean Bender.
PD enjoyed hunting, fishing and spending time with his family and friends. He was an avid sports fan who never missed watching a Pacers or Colts game. During warm weather he enjoyed sitting in his front yard, listening to music and watching squirrels.
PD never met a stranger. He always went out of his way to help anyone, especially his friends. His quick wit and spunky attitude will be missed greatly by all who knew him.
A Celebration of His Life will be held at Noon on Monday, January 27, 2020 at Indiana Funeral Care, Harry W Moore Chapel, with visitation beginning at 10 a.m.
In remembrance of PD, listen to some good music, catch a fish, or go for a drive.
