She attended Arlington High School and IUPUI graduating with a master's degree in psychology.
She enjoyed crafting, time with family and her work was her passion while employed at Midtown Mental Health Services.
She is survived by son Theodore Phelps (spouse Ashley), son Michael Phelps (spouse Marchell), and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
