After a lovely week-end visiting with family and friends, Patricia ( Campbell) Scott left this life on September 11, 2023. She was born on March 15, 1941 in Dublin, Ireland to the late Michael and Margaret ( Lennon) Campbell.
She immigrated to the United States with her first husband with whom she had 3 wonderful sons. While that marriage ended in divorce, she remained very proud of her sons and their families. Pat primarily worked in retail, selling everything from clothes to jewelry to grandfather clocks and music boxes. She never met a stranger.
Pat later married Col. William ( Bill) A. Scott. They had many happy years together.
She loved to travel and some of her favorite trips were to Prague, Peru to see Machu Pichu and Montreal to see the Formula One race. She would never say no to an adventure and learned to ride a knee board in her 50's. She would ride roller coasters and go parasailing when she was in her 70's. She even went on a zip line course, although she didn't feel the need to ever repeat that activity.
She had a positive attitude and even after cancer treatment took away her voice, she never complained about the things she couldn't do, but focused on what she was able to accomplish. With the help of her team at Community Home Hospice( Pamela, Hope, Lisa and others) , she was able to stay independent until the last few days of her life.
Pat was preceded in death by her parents and sister, Clair Green. She is survived by her sons David McDonald ( Rusty) , Brian McDonald( Enkhe) and Kevin McDonald( Robyn), her sister, Marjorie Bozkurt, 8 grand children and 6 great grandchildren and her black cat Truffles.
