Patricia “Pat” Nadolski, 96, a loving wife, sister, beloved mother and aunt to many passed away on January 29th, 2025. Born on December 10, 1928 to the late William and Elsie Henderson in Gary, IN. Pat was the 12th child in a family of 14 children.
She is the last surviving sibling and is preceded in death by her brothers and sisters:
William (Cardula) Henderson, Kay (Wayne) Prillaman, Elsie Henderson, Marie (Foy) Snyder, Thelma (Russ) Walton, Irma (Charles) Fye, Mary Jane (John) Roche, James (Virginia) Henderson, June (Bob) Jessup, Robert Henderson, Dorothy (Stan) Wisniewski, Barbara Jean Henderson, Jack (Dorothy) Henderson.
In 1955, she married her loving husband, the late Raymond Nadolski, Sr. She is survived by 3 of her 4 children: Elisa (Mike) Zon, Fran Nadolski, Raymond (Bridget) Nadolski, Jr. She is preceded in death by her beloved son John Nadolski. Pat was a loving grandmother to Samantha (Jason) Toombs, Micheal Zon, Jr., Sarah (Rory McSweeney)Nadolski, Megan Nadolski, Jasmine (Mike Montoya) Nadolski, Paige Nadolski and great grandmother to Keira Ring, Kaia, Luca, and Gia Montoya, Damian, Dalary, and Gio.
Pat graduated from Emerson High School in Gary in 1948. She earned her RN degree from St Mary Mercy School of Nursing in 1954. She worked as an RN in NW Indiana hospitals and ended her career as an industrial nurse for the John Anderson Co.
She is remembered for her sweet nature, positive outlook, sense of humor and fun.
She loved to host family reunions, to travel, read, hike, and to spend time with family.
She was a lover of coffee (usually Starbucks), action movies, and western novels. Most importantly, she was always there to lend a hand to others in need. Her sense of compassion was great and her presence in this world is greatly missed.
The family would like to thank all of her caregivers throughout her later years both in-home and at Hamilton Trace in Fishers. There will be a Celebration of Life gathering in Hobart, IN on April 5th (full details pending).
