Patricia Lytle

Patricia M. Lytle, born on August 28, 1943, in Decatur, Indiana, peacefully passed away on August 1, 2024, at the age of 80. She was the daughter of Earnest and Maxine Baumann. Pat was the loving wife of the late Steven D. Lytle, to whom she was wed in 1963 until his passing in 2020.

She is survived by her son Anthony "Tony" Lytle and his wife Cindy of Tucson, Arizona, her son Wade Lytle and his wife Shelley of Indianapolis, Indiana, her six grandsons: Brady, Simon, Jonas, Isaiah, Chance (MacKenna) and Collin, and her two great-grandchildren: Emarah and Abraham.

Pat graduated from Decatur High School in 1961 and, together with her husband, operated the renowned Steven Lytle's Hair Shack in Decatur, IN. Their salon, a cornerstone of the community since 1973, was a testament to their passion for their work.

A devoted follower of Jesus Christ, Pat's faith was the bedrock of her life. Known for her unwavering commitment to family, Pat always put their needs above her own and found genuine joy in serving them. She took immense pride in watching her sons and grandsons excel in sports.

The funeral services to honor Pat's memory will be held at Lifepoint Church on August 8, 2024, starting with the Family Viewing at 2:30 pm, followed by the Public Viewing at 3:00 pm, with the Funeral Service commencing at 5:00 pm. A life well-lived, Pat's legacy will endure through the love she shared, the lives she touched, and the memories she leaves behind.
