With profound sadness we announce the passing of our loving Patricia Lee Healey. She left us peacefully on Monday July 26th at the age of 80. She fiercely fought and refused to give up her battle with breast cancer. She loved life and knew no matter what she was in God’s hands.
She was married to the love of her life Paul for 60 years.
Pat loved people and helping others, she gave selflessly. She loved nature, birds and flowers, shopping, Mexican food and so many other things but she loved her family the most. She was a loving wife, sister, aunt, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, and best friend to everyone she met.
For many years she worked proudly as a successful Realtor in Hendricks County. She loved attending church and volunteering at local food pantries. Her life is a living example of Ephesians 4:32 “Be kind and compassionate to one another, forgiving one another, just as God forgave you in Christ”
She is survived by her loving husband Paul B Healey, her sister Pam Turpin, her sons; Mark Healey, (Cindy) Matt Healey, Mike Healey (Diana), her daughter Mindy Ottinger (Patrick), Grandchildren; Dustin Healey, Stephen Smith, Michelle Petrovich, Kyndra Garringer, Kyra Garringer, Ashley Jarvis, Dean Kleibert, Justin White, Christina Brinson, Alexandria Brinson, Michael Healey, Kadin Ottinger, Katelynn Luttrell, and Kenna Healey. Great Grandchildren: David Jarvis, Bentley Healey, Harper Brinson, and many nieces and nephews she loved dearly. She is proceeded in death by her parents Gordan, and Nellie Nation.
We were all so blessed to be loved by her.
A special thank you to the oncology staff at Community South Hospital and Community South Cancer Center for all their friendship, love and compassionate care.
In lieu of flowers, we will be collecting monetary donations and gift cards to express our gratitude for them.
