Patricia Ann Wismer
May 25, 1936 — June 7, 2020
Patricia Ann Wismer, age 84, went peacefully to her heavenly home on June 7, 2020 with her daughter, Diane Stratmann by her side. Pat was preceded in death by the love of her life, James P. Wismer, her parents, Angelo Cargas and Mary Cargas (Ketterman), and her daughter-in-law, Jeri Wismer.
Pat is survived by her siblings in Pennsylvania, Angela Keefer, Nickolaus Cargas (Allison) and Ricardo Cargas (Danielle), and five children – David Wismer, Louisiana. Debra Baldwin (James), Michigan. Diane Stratmann (Brad), Indiana. Shawn Yarbrough (Mike), Colorado. Angie Schuster (Tim), Colorado. Pat is also survived by 9 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.
Pat spent most of her life in Aurora, Colorado and retired from Citywide Bank of Denver. She and her husband were members of the Aurora Hills Baptist Church where Pat sang in the choir. Later in life she moved to several different states to be close to her children. She loved reading, playing cards and especially spending time with loved ones. Pat was quite a firecracker, and she will be missed by so many – may her love live on through them.
Next spring the family will have a celebration of life at Rifle Falls, Colorado, one of Pat & Jim’s favorite places.
