Patricia Ann Powell

Patricia Ann Heffron Powell, 89, was in heaven for Christmas morning, having passed away December 24, 2020 from COVID-19. Born November 6, 1931 in Gary, Indiana to William and Florence Heffron, she attended Ball State University and met her life love, Fred Powell. They were married 62 years until his death December 28, 2013, but she loved him passionately until she drew her last breath on this earth and was reunited with him in heaven.
Pat was an accomplished professional model for Ball Brothers Corp, Muncie, Indiana and Blocks Tea Room, Indianapolis, Indiana (runway model) for many years. She wanted to be a kindergarten teacher, but had five children instead; Debbie Howard (Mike), Jay Powell (Kate), Susan Boots (Jim), Nancy Dicus (Bob), Bill Powell…she was the kids number one cheerleader!
With imagination and creativity she made Powell’s Palace a place of love and precious family memories that will live on forever in our hearts. Pat was a true blue friend with an uplifting, positive spirit - there was always someone worse off than she. She leaves behind 11 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held summer 2021.
