Pamela Pulliam

Pamela Pulliam was born on February 9, 1952, in Birmingham, Alabama to the late Robert Boyd and Eleanor Walker Harris.

At an early age she confessed her love for Christ and accepted him as her personal savior. Pamela was previously a member of Zion Hill Missionary Baptist Church. Then later she moved her membership to New Birth Fellowship Church where she was a current member.

Pamela received her education in the Indianapolis Public School System. She was united in marriage to the late Author Pulliam.

Pamela was employed in the food service industry. She was also a homemaker. In her spare time, she enjoyed volunteering at the Amvets Bingo Hall.

She was the Matriarch of the family. Pamela was known for wearing the most fashionable hats. She enjoyed being on the usher board and Sunday morning worship. Pamela loved socializing, playing cards and bingo. She enjoyed family gatherings and cooking while putting her love into every meal she cooked. The light Pamela brought into the room wherever she was present will be greatly missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing her.

Pamela received her wings and transitioned from this earthly life on February 19, 2025, at the age of 73. She was preceded in death by her husband; Author Pulliam, parents; Robert Boyd, Eleanor Walker Harris, brothers; Harold Homes, Dennis Boyd, and sister; Brenda Powell. She leaves to cherish her memory sons; James Brown, Kenneth Brown, brothers; Robert Boyd, Kenneth Walker, sister; Angela Allen, a host of grandchildren, nieces, nephews and other family and friends.
