"Miss Me, but Let Me Go"
When I come to the end of the road
And the sun has set for me
I want no tears in a gloom-filled room
Why cry for a soul set free?
Miss me a little, but not too long
And not with your head bowed low
Remember the love that once we shared
Miss me, but let me go.
Miss me, but let me go
'Cause true love never ends
Miss me, but let me go
I'll live in your heart 'til we meet again
For this is a journey all must take
And each must go alone
It's all a part of a bigger plan
A step on the road to home
So, when you're lonely and sad at heart
Go to the friends we know
And bury your tears in their loving hearts
Miss me, but let me go.
Miss me, but let me go
'Cause true love never ends
Miss me, but let me go
I'll live in your heart 'til we meet again
Oh, miss me, but let me go
'Cause true love never ends
Miss me, but let me go
I'll live in your heart 'til we meet again.
