Norman Ellis Scott, 64, of Noblesville, passed away peacefully at home on December 26, 2019. Norman was born on June 1, 1955 in Indianapolis, Indiana and is a 1974 graduate of Westfield High School.
Norman worked at Bud's Truck Stop on Harding Street for 20 years until it closed. He did various jobs, the last of which was delivering heating fuel to homes throughout Indianapolis, which is were he reconnected with his current wife Kathy Scott who had been a childhood sweetheart. He worked at Indiana Veneers after Bud's closed for 8 years until he had heart surgery.
Norman loved fishing and being outdoors, but most of all he loved his family.
He is survived by his loving wife Kathy Scott; his sons Bert and Norman Scott Jr,; stepdaughters Chris (Todd) Wiley and Karen (Kevin) Harris who loved him very much; siblings Bert C. (Chuck) Scott, Gloria J. Perry, Bonnie J. Harper and Susan I. Scott; and several grandchildren.
He is preceded in death by his daughter Tonya Jean Scott; his parents Charles F. Scott and Flecia F. Tillberry; stepfather Richard Tillberry; and sister Robbie S. Bowles.
Services will be held on Thursday, January 2, 2020 at 3 pm at Indiana Funeral Care, Harry W. Moore Chapel, 8151 Allisonville Road, Indianapolis. Visitation will be from 1 to 3 pm.
