Norma Barnes

January 2, 1930 — April 29, 2024

Norma Mae Barnes born January 2nd, 1930, passed away on Monday, April 29th, 2024. She graduated from Arsenal Tech High School in 1948. She was born to Henry and Carrie (Goodpasture) Gerdts.

Norma worked for WIBC radio, Hilift, and she was a title clerk for the BMV. She was a longtime member of the American Legion in Noblesville, IN. She enjoyed playing euchre and card games, spending time at the lakehouse and on the boat on Lake Cataract Lake, and spoiling her English Bulldogs, Sadie and Brutus. She will be remembered as a loving daughter who cared for her father, Henry Gerdts, until his death on August 21st, 1996.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Henry and Carrie Gerdts. Norma is survived by her daughter, Debbie (Ron) Brill; her grandsons, Randy (Amanda) Brill and Robert Brill; and her great grandchildren, Jayde Brill and Tyler Brill.

There will be a visitation and funeral service on Friday, May 3rd, 2024. The visitation is from 4:30pm to 6:30pm with the funeral service to start at 6:30pm.
