Natalie Jamison Mitchell, after spending the first 80 years of her life in Cincinnati, Ohio, passed away on Sunday, February 26, 2023, at her home in Indianapolis at the age of 96. She was the beloved wife of the late Morgan Wilson Mitchell, loving mother of Deborah Mitchell (Robert) Falk, Gary Jamison (Bonnie) Mitchell, and dear grandmother of Gretchen Falk (Michael) Martinet, Kyle Robert (Caitlin) Falk, Erinn Mitchell (Ryan) Carlson, and Neal Jamison (Corinne) Mitchell. She is also survived by 5 great-grandsons, John and Luke Martinet, Connor, Colin, and Campbell Falk, as well as nieces and nephews.

 

Natalie graduated from Hughes High School in Cincinnati and the University of Cincinnati, where she became a member of Alpha Chi Omega and volunteered as an active alumna throughout her life. She was a faithful member and elder of Westwood First Presbyterian Church in Cincinnati and Second Presbyterian Church in Indianapolis. Natalie was an active member of the Cincinnati Women’s Club. Her favorite activities were entertaining family and friends, watercolor painting, gardening, and decorating.

 

A service celebrating Natalie’s life will be held Saturday, May 13th at 12:30pm, Second Presbyterian Church, 7700 North Meridian Street, Indianapolis, Indiana, 46260. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Music and Fine Arts Department at Second Presbyterian Church.
