Nancy Reid

Nancy Reid, 75, passed away on January 18, 2023, in Indianapolis, Indiana.

Nancy is survived by Marie Meyers - daughter, James Meyers - son, Sherrie Meyers-Kane - daughter, Allan Reid - son, Christina Barr - granddaughter, Devin Barr - great-grandson, Jayden Barr - great-grandson, Dejanara Reid - grandaughter, Heather Meyers - granddaughter, Stephanie Meyers - granddaughter,Susan Kellar - sister, April Reid - sister, Myrtle Crespo - sister along with 9+ wonderful nieces and nephews

Nancy is preceded in death by Nora Louise Reid - mother, Clayton Reid - father, Shirley Amador - twin sister, Mamie Spice - sister. 

Nancy enjoyed creating beautiful crochet and "pretty knot" rugs, birds, sewing, reading, tinkering in the yard and most of all, her family. She loved shopping for a bargain and finding beauty in things others had discarded. She was strong, smart and full of heart and compassion. She put others needs before her own and lived life on her terms. Complexities of life did not stop her. She was always there for her family through the challenges that life brings. She had a tough road, but she never stopped fighting and loving life. Death did not defeat her but elevated her to renewal in Heaven where there is no more suffering. She will live on in the hearts and memories of her family with much love and will truly be missed. 

Family Goodbye viewing will be Monday January 23 from 11 am to 11:30 am.
