Nancy Mynatt, born on February 2, 1937, in Pittsburg, Kansas, passed away peacefully on September 12, 2024, in Greenwood, Indiana.
Nancy dedicated over 35 years of her professional life to the Hilton Hotel Chain, where she served with distinction as a Food Service Manager. Her career was marked by a commitment to excellence and a passion for serving others, which she carried into all aspects of her life.
Nancy was an avid reader, cherishing the written word as a source of joy and inspiration, with The Bible holding a special place in her heart. She enjoyed flowers and jewelry, finds that complemented her vibrant spirit, and above all, she loved her family dearly.
She is survived by her son, Michael Mynatt, her daughter, Jill Currie, nine cherished grandchildren, and 16 great-grandchildren. Nancy's family also includes her son-in-law, Doug Currie, and her daughter-in-law, Shannon Mynatt. She was blessed with the unwavering friendship of Carol Cowan, who remained a steadfast companion throughout her life.
Nancy was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Jack Mynatt.
Family and friends are invited to gather in memory of Nancy at the Victory Independent Baptist Church in Whiteland, Indiana. The services will commence on September 18, 2024, with a visitation from 10:00 AM until 11:00 AM, followed by a memorial service at 11:00 AM and concluding at 12:00 PM.
Nancy Mynatt will be remembered not only for her professional accomplishments but also for her warm heart, her dedication to her loved ones, and her profound love for life. Her legacy will continue to shine through the lives she touched, and she will be profoundly missed by all who knew her.
