November 15, 1989 — August 25, 2024

Indianapolis

Najala Sion Wallace, also known as “NA-NA,” was born on November 15, 1989 to Michael & Meeulonda Wallace. Najala was the 3rd of 5 siblings. Najala attended Indianapolis Public School Theodore Potter #74 for Elementary School. She attended Julian D. Coleman #110 for Middle School. Followed by the Excel Center where she received her diploma. Najala confessed her life to Christ at an early age. As a little girl, through her grandmother and great-grandmother, she became a member of Murchison Temple, CME. Najala later rededicated her life to Christ by Baptism at Loving Missionary Baptist Church under Pastor Mundy.

Najala met her life partner Jordan at the age of 15 and have been inseparable ever since. Their union blessed us with a beautiful babygirl by the name of Jordyn.

As a young girl, Najala hobbies were stepping, dancing, playing basketball, playing volleyball, writing poetry and she loved to color. On through adulthood, she continued her passion for writing. Najala has always been known as the “girly, girl” in the family who loves fashion. Najala really enjoyed her family and she truly loved her daughter, Baby Jordyn.

At the age of 16, Najala began her career at Kroger, where she remained for 18 years. For the last few years, Najala worked at JP Morgan Chase Bank as a Bank Teller. On August 25th, Najala departed this life. Although it was very soon, we take comfort knowing that as the sunset, Najala ended her day in her new home. Starting her life with her Father in Glory.

Najala leaves to cherish her daughter, Jordyn Clayton, her lifetime partner, Jordan Clayton, her Mother, Meeulonda Williams, her Father, Michael Wallace, her brothers, Michael & Sterling Wallace, her sister, Mckayla Noel, her grandmother Genette Henard. Niece & nephews, and a host of other family members. Including her best friends, Tinisha Bills & Kristin Gilmore.

Najala is preceded in death by her older brother, Marcus Wallace, her maternal grandfather Levi Rutledge, her paternal grandparents, James & Barbara Wallace, her maternal great-grandparents, James & Genvia Williams and Booker T. & Rose Rutledge, her niece, Baby Kyndall & her Aunt Nattie Williams.
