Monty Montgomery

Monty (Rondal) Montgomery went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, July 6, 2022. He is survived by his wife of 15 years, Lois (Rials) Montgomery, nephews Mike (Toma) Montgomery and Monty (Cheryl) Montgomery, daughters Lynda (David) Pendleton and Robyn (Dwane) Anthony, grandsons Josh (Maddie) Pendleton, Jacob (Claire) Pendleton, Breanna (Stu) Scales, Krista Anthony, Lela (Hanna) Bowles, and great-grandchildren Charlotte and Theodore Scales.

Born in Bucktown, Indiana, May 12, 1930, to Dennis and Ida (Frederick) Montgomery, he was preceded in death by his parents, his brother Lavere, and his Aunt Marie.

In his career, Monty worked in security, the auto industry (Chrysler), and HVAC. He and Lois met after his retirement while he was working at WalMart.

Monty loved Jesus and listening to his audio Bible. He enjoyed watching birds, being outdoors, and cheering on his grandkids. Monty was a warm-hearted, generous servant who was always willing to help or meet any need. He loved his friends and family well.
