Michelle (Coffman) Pond-Mueller, 66, of Indianapolis, Indiana passed away Thursday, May 12, 2022. She was born March 21, 1956 to the late Herman and Margaret (Harlow) Coffman in Indianapolis, Indiana.
At the age of 6 she was diagnosed with severe bronchial asthma and at the age of 8 went to Denver’s Children’s Asthma Research Institute and Hospital for the next two years, returning in 1967 at the age of 11.
Michelle attended Lawrence schools as a child. She married her husband Carl Mueller on September 13, 1997. She worked for the BMV for many years and most recently as a retail manager for United Package Liquors. She enjoyed NASCAR, particularly Dale Earnhardt and Dale Earnhardt JR. and Harley Davidson Motorcycles. She loved to play bingo, dominoes, and euchre, and being with friends and family. Michelle also loved to travel, enjoying places such as Newfoundland, New Mexico, Washington State, Gatlinburg, and Florida. She loved her pets (Babies) Nick, Burbank, Lucy, Maggie, Wilson, Gracie, Dozer, and Dale. She was a longtime supporter of both Special Olympics and The Humane Society.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Herman, and Margaret.
Michelle is survived by her husband, Carl Mueller, sons, Kevin Pond, Kyle Pond, sisters, Janet Stall and her husband Mark, Deborah Coffman, niece, Kera (Stall) Healy, and granddaughter, Athena Marie.
Visitation is Tuesday, May 17, 2022, 3:00 PM until 5:00 PM at Indiana Funeral Care, Greenwood Chapel.
Funeral service will begin at 5:00 PM.
