Michelle "Nimsy" Lynn Smalley

March 17, 1967 — February 10, 2025

Indianapolis

Michelle Lynn Smalley “Nimsy” was born March 17th of 1967, in Leheighton PA, peacefully passed away on Monday, February 10th of 2025 at Community North Hospital.

As a child, Michelle was a young spirited woman whose best friend was her hair spray and always had her 80s fashion filled outfits, immaculate. Michelle, her sister, and cousins enjoyed vacations with their families at Pecks pond riding bikes and playing games. She was an avid writer, aspiring to be a journalist. As she grew older, writing became a pass time for her as she embraced the full time job of being a mother. Michelle loved her children the most, making the most out of everyday life so that her children grew up in a loving and engaging home. As her nest emptied, she had more time to enjoy her other hobbies such as triathlons and binge watching Bravo TV. She loved the sport so much, she trained day in and day out for the half Iron Man, a 70.3 mile swim, bike, run triathlon. This was her passion. When she wasn’t dreaming of becoming a Real Housewife, she was dreaming to one day compete in the Race Across America. Michelle took her final place of residence in Indianapolis with her fiance Harold Bricker, whom she loved very much, in a cozy apartment along with her cat Ziggy Marley. Michelle was an amazing friend, mother, and all around person. Everyone whom she kept close to her would always feel the love she had for them, it was her gift.

Michelle is survived by her father Bill Smalley, her children Kendall and Nicholas Atkins, and her sister Jennifer Anderson.

A memorial for Michelle will be held on March 8th, 2025 at St. Christophers Episcopal Church in Carmel IN at 11:00 am.
