Michael Shea Walker

Michael Shea Walker passed October 15, 2019 in Golden Living Home, after a long illness. He was born to Theodore and Ruth Walker on February 9, 1932.
Mr. Walker served in Germany during the Korean conflict as a 2nd Lieutenant after completing OCS as an artillery forward observer in the U.S. Army. He graduated from Tech High School as well as from the University of Cincinnati with a B.A. degree. Michael was a past President of the Indianapolis Jaycees and owned his own business as a Realtor. He also drove a Postal route from Indianapolis to St. Louis and back in addition to selling real estate.
After retiring, he and his wife enjoyed travelling, sales and many adventures. They also served in their church for 15 years.
Preceding him in death were his parents, Ruth and Theodore Walker; a daughter, Debra Boggess; 2 sisters, Ruth Eppen and Judith Surber; and 3 brothers, Theodore Walker, James Walker M.D., and Frank Walker. He is survived by his wife, Cath; son, Mark Walker (wife Alice); 2 daughters, Kathleen Walker and Michele Jennings; sister, Elizabeth “Betty” Koeppen; 7 stepchildren, Terry Hausmann, Linda Smith (husband Cleatus), Cathy Davis, Tom Welch (wife Martha), Sandy Demaree (husband Dave), Mark Welch (wife Janie), and Lisa Terrell.
May he rest in peace, being loved by all family. Everything that love could do was done!
