Michael Ryan King, 47, of Indianapolis, Indiana, passed away on November 30th, 2021. He was born to Gary and Joyce King on October 23rd, 1974, in Indianapolis, Indiana.
Michael graduated from Center Grove High School in 1993 and was a well-known Center Grover student athlete. He participated in many sports, including baseball, basketball, and soccer. He went to the Steve Alfred Basketball Clinic at Franklin College, a basketball seminar that people from all over the country attended. He then graduated from Vincennes University.
Michael was employed by several companies as a supply and display specialist. Most recently, he worked with the FedEx corporation.
Michael loved the Indy 500, canoeing, and fishing in Indiana ponds and streams, usually with success.
His family enjoyed his culinary efforts on his backyard grill. Michael and his family are known for all the dogs they have adopted over the years and Michael was the ‘Favorite’ of them all.
Michael is survived by his parents, Gary and Joyce King, and his brother, Gary King II.
There will be a memorial service on Saturday, June 11th, 2022 at St. Barnabas Catholic Church at 10:00am. There will be a visitation prior to the service from 9:00am to 10:00am with the memorial service to follow. Flowers may be delivered to the church as early Friday, June 10th.
