Michael J. Hyatt, 64, of Martinsville, IN., passed away on September 29th, 2022. He was born on January 15th, 1958, to Norman Hyatt and Arlene Borski (Gatchel) in Evanston, IL.
Michael graduated from Center Grove High School in 1978. He loved Elvis Presley, karaoke, fishing, camping, collecting, John Wayne movies, working on cars, and trying new cooking ideas. He also loved spending time with his kids and grandkids.
Michael is survived by his father, Norman Hyatt of Martinsville; his mother, Arlene Borski (Gatchel) of Greenwood; his estranged wife, Alta Hyatt of Munice; his children, Tonya (Chris) Back of Monrovia, Stacey (Kody) Cordray of Mitchell, Randall Hyatt of Martinsville, Johnny (Danielle) Hyatt of Martinsville, and Robert Hyatt of Munice; his nine grandchildren, R.J. Back, Noah, Olivia, Alexa, Lakota, Sophia, Ashlynn, Elijah, and Abel Hyatt; his brothers, Martin (Debbie) Hyatt of Martinsville and Mark (Ann) Hyatt of Greenwood; his sister, Julianne (Buster) Prine of Greenwood; his step-sister, Beth Borski of Speedway; and his step-brother, Bill Beasley; and his beloved Gina Hyatt.
He is preceded in death by his grandparents, Lucian Gatchel, Sarah Stock, John and Ethel Hyatt; his step-father, Donald Borski; his step-mother, Kathryn Beasley; his step-sister Lora Livingston; his step-brothers, Kerry Borski and Donald Beasley, and his daughter, Anna Sharee Hyatt.
There will be a visitation and funeral service on Wednesday, October 5th, 2022, at Indiana Funeral Care, Greenwood Chapel. The visitation will be from 10:30am to 12:30pm with the funeral service to start at 12:30. Burial will take place at Forest Lawn Memory Gardens.
