Michael Hamilton Jacobs

Michael Hamilton Jacobs was born in April 1946 in Richmond, Indiana. He passed away at his home in Indianapolis on Wednesday, November 27, 2019. He is survived by his wife, Susan Zurbuchen, three children: Stephanie Jacobs, Cocoa, Florida; Kimberly Jacobs, Petoskey, Michigan; and Tony Jacobs, Winder, Georgia; two grandchildren, Jordan and Corina; and his sister, Elizabeth Kroondyk, Boyne City, Michigan. He was preceded in death by his parents Robert and Margaret Jacobs and his brothers, Curt and Charles.
Mike was an entrepreneur and adventurer. He was both a licensed pilot and a licensed sea captain. He was a rodeo rider, competitive swimmer and avid skier in his teens. He was an environmentalist who loved the outdoors – both land and sea. He graduated with a Bachelors Degree in Theatre and Business from Lakeland College in Sheboygan, Wisconsin where he first met his wife Susan.
A memorial celebration of life will be held at a later date.
