Michael W. Gilbreath

With great sadness, we announce the passing of Michael Gilbreath. Mike passed away at home on Sunday, December 4, 2022, at the young age of 43. During his final days, Mike was surrounded by the love of family and friends.

Mike was a very smart, strong, and stubborn man who could accomplish anything he wanted. He was a hardworking man from an early age and always took pride in the work he did. Mike lived most for his children - Parks, Miley, and Kolton - and enjoyed making memories with them and his life companion Lori. Though he often showed a rough exterior, his kindness shined through whenever he helped others by lending a helping hand, offering a shoulder to lean on and providing support during difficult times.

Mike is survived by his life companion, two sons, daughter, father, sister, niece, nephew, and other relatives.

A celebration of Mike’s life will be held on Thursday, December 15, 2022, from 4:00 pm until 7:00 pm at Indiana Funeral Care, Greenwood Chapel.

Mike will be missed by many and forever held in the hearts of his family and other loved ones.
