Michael D. Eby, age 61, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, August 16, 2022, at his home in Greensburg, IN.
Michael was born on February 2, 1961, in Dayton, Ohio to S. Morris and Norma “Micki” (Carico) Eby. Michael graduated in 1978 from Preble Shawnee High School in Camden, OH and began his military career. After serving in the United States Air Force and the US Army, Michael was honorably discharged in May of 1995. He worked as a machinist, shipping supervisor, and Quality Auditor in manufacturing facilities in Ohio and Greensburg, IN.
In 2009, Michael met his beloved wife, Annette “Red” (Martin) Foulke. They were married on September 9, 2017, in Richmond, IN.
Michael was a lifelong fan of the Cincinnati Reds and Bengals. He enjoyed coaching baseball, fishing, shooting, and collecting firearms, anything related to the military, and reading. His greatest joy in life was spending time with his family.
Michael is survived by his loving wife, mother, sisters: Teresa McIntosh, Debra Lockner, and Tamara Denman, sons: Matthew Eby and Morgan Eby (Kateland Fields), bonus sons: Joshua Foulke (Jaclyn Condra) and Kyle Foulke (Liz), grandchildren: Madison, Tinley, Anthony, Isaac, Noah, Mallanei, Maddix, and Marston, several nieces, and nephews. Michael is also survived by his faithful companion, Chloe, a 12-year-old English Mastiff.
He was preceded in death by his father, brother, Tony Eby, and his beloved son Michael Brandon Eby.
At the request of the deceased, no public visitation or service will be held. The family will celebrate his life in private.
