Melba was a loving mother, grandmother, sister and friend. She truly did not know a stranger. Melba was the true definition of living life to the fullest. Most people, if given her cards, would have given up and quit living, but she did the exact opposite. She had the most upbeat and outgoing personality and there never was a dull moment if she had any control of it. Melba was a southern woman at heart and she never failed to have a hot meal waiting on the table with open arms to whoever wanted to come. To the many people who Melba loved, she loved them with her entire being and did everything in her power to make sure they knew that. Melba will be missed dearly by all her family, friends, and anyone who she only briefly crossed paths with.
