Max P. Greene

Max Paul Greene, 83, of Martinsville, Indiana passed away Tuesday, June 22, 2021. He was born at home on October 15, 1937, near Monrovia, Indiana to the late Walter Greene and Helen (Pike) Manley Greene.

He served in the US Army and was stationed in Germany. He was a 52-year member of the Carpenters Union. He was a 1955 Monrovia High School Graduate. Max enjoyed shooting, hunting and being outdoors. He married Sharon Lane on July 7, 1979, and had three children, Sarah Priscilla, and Max Greene II.

Max is preceded in death by his parents, siblings, Norman Manley, Eugene Manley, Don Greene, and Sarah Jane Greene.

He is survived by his wife of 41 years, Sharon Greene; son, Max Greene II of Mooresville; daughter’s, Sarah Collins of Lenoir City, TN, Priscilla Pheifer of Monrovia; and 13 grandchildren.

Services will be at Good Shepherd Baptist Church in Mooresville on Saturday, June 26, at 1:00 pm with calling from 11:00 am until time of service.

Burial will be at West Union Cemetery in Monrovia.
