Max Ramon Dugger Sr., 73, of Marshall, passed away on July 9, 2024, surrounded by his family that he adored. He was born on February 26, 1951 to Claude and Olive Dugger.
Max was a true craftsman, some would say a ‘jack of all trades’. After reading a how to book on house building, he added and remodeled his home. Whenever anyone in the family needed help, Max was the person that they turned to because he would know the answer. If he didn’t know the answer, he would research until he found it.
His true passion was his family. They were his true pride and joy. They were his ultimate accomplishment. After retiring from the State and Home Depot, he had even more time to spend with his family. He loved to chauffeur his grandchildren from school activities and 4-H.
Left to cherish his memory is his wife of almost 45 years, Diane S. Dugger; children, Jim (Franka Addler) Wirth, Max Jr. (Lindy) Dugger, and Candy (Todd) Jones; grandchildren, Morgan (Boden Becker) Dugger, Hallie (fiancé Cam Helderman) Jones, Cole Jones, Taylor Dugger, Kayleb Price, and Natalie (Evan James) Jones; bonus grandchildren, Ethan (Lindsay) York and Kalen (Kelsey) York; bonus great grandchildren, Amelia and Wyatt York, and Maren and Colin York; brother, Alan Dugger of Clinton; sister, Glenda Massey of Phoenix, AZ; sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Ginny and Jim Lewzader; special nephews, nieces and many other special family member. Max is also survived by his precious dog, Maggie and many great-grand pups.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Claude and Olive Dugger, and his sister, Anna Kay Goldstein.
Max was a humble man, in lieu of service, the family would love for you to share memories with them.
