Mary Whistler

Mary Ann (Davis) Lucas-Whistler, 81, a former resident of Florida, passed away peacefully on Sunday, November 19th, 2023, in Indianapolis surrounded by her family. Born on August 16th, 1942, at her family's home in Stinesville, Indiana, Mary Ann was the daughter of the late Fred and Delores (Terry) Davis.

Throughout her life, Mary Ann was known for her outgoing and social nature. She had a sense of adventure and loved to travel. She pursued various unique professions during her working career.

In her later years, Mary Ann dedicated herself to caring for the Loughery Family and was affectionately known as "BeBe". However, her greatest joy came from spending time with her family, friends, and beloved fur babies.

Mary Ann is survived by her children: Nannette Porter (David Lafeber), William Antrobus Jr., and Garland Pinkston; grandchildren: Summer Helton, Michael (Jami) Moore, Anna Pinkston, Aaron Pinkston, Kimberly Anderson, and William (Kim) Antrobus III; as well as twelve great-grandchildren. She is also survived by siblings: Nancy Crohn, Jeff (Cheryl) Davis, Betty (Mike) Hillard, and Jill (Terry) Hovious. Her loyal canine companion Paddy will miss her dearly. Additionally, she leaves behind numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and close friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her daughter Carrie Pinkston; brothers Freddy Davis and Richard Murray; sister Becky Norris; and grandson Jerry Mahurin.

A celebration of Mary Ann's life will be held at a later date to honor the beautiful journey she has completed surrounded by loved ones.
