Mary Madolin (Bobo) Parido, 82, dear wife of Grover F. Parido and loving mother to Grover D. and Thomas V. Parido passed away peacefully Thursday, 12/5/2024 in Indianapolis, Indiana.
A lifelong educator in English and Foreign Languages who stimulated young minds to grow their knowledge of the world through literature and communication. A Distinguished Alumni of Indiana University achieving recognition for her multiple contributions to her profession. A devoted Christian who cherished her church community and a world traveler who enjoyed discovering new cultures and the beauty of God’s creation. An avid love for music of all types, especially the performances of her multi-talented family. A dedicated grandmother who could always be found at school events, concerts, sporting events, and big moments in her grandchildren’s lives.
Mary was preceded in death by her father and mother, David H. Bobo and Madolin Bobo, and her sister Anne Jennerman. She is survived by her devoted husband of 66 years, Grover F. Parido, her two sons/daughter In-laws Grover D. and Cathy Parido, Thomas V. and Gigi Parido. Also survived by six grandchildren and thirteen great-grandchildren.
