Mary M. Mayes, 73, of Indianapolis, Indiana passed away Wednesday, May 6, 2020 at Community Hospital East, Indianapolis. She was born Thursday, October 17, 1946 to the late Charles Oldham and Eula (Shrewsbury) Oldham both of Indianapolis, Indiana.
Mary was a member of Shelby Street Pentecostal Lighthouse in Indianapolis. She loved going to church. Serving God was her utmost desire. She loved spending time with friends and family. She also enjoyed gardening and spending time in nature.
She is preceded in death by husband, James C. Mayes Jr.; daughter, Kimberly Ann Mayes; sister, Sue Ralph; brother, Mike Oldham; and grandson, Aaron Joshua Mayes.
Mary is survived by son, Jim Mayes of Indianapolis; grandsons, Jimmy Mayes, Noah Mayes; granddaughter, Kylie Nicole Harris; and brother in law, Jim Ralph.

Visitation will be Wednesday, May 13, 2020 11:00 am until 1:00 pm at Indiana Funeral Care/Greenwood Chapel, 2433 East Main Street, Greenwood, Indiana 46143.
Funeral service will begin at 1:00 pm.
Burial at Crown Hill Cemetery
